We are currently observing an increase in the number of herds that are getting clinical erysipelas. This can occur in unvaccinated breeders and growers. Make sure that you have an effective vaccination program in place on your herd. There are several commercial vaccines available for both breeders and progeny including a recently released live vaccine that can be administered through drinking water.
