Dr Sarah Jenkin BVSc MVS
Veterinarian/Business Unit Manager
Sarah is a veterinary graduate from Massey University and in 2018 was awarded a Master of Veterinary Studies in Epidemiology.
Sarah joined the Apiam team in 2010. In her role as a senior swine veterinary consultant Sarah has a special interest in improving reproductive performance, data analysis, recognizing disease patterns, and boar stud health and management.
With her role as an APIQ auditor for seven years, Sarah is well known throughout the industry for her knowledge in production systems.
In 2020 Sarah was appointed as a Swine Teams Business Unit Manager. In this role she continues to provide veterinary services to her existing clients as well as provide direction for continued growth of Apiam’s Pig and Poultry Services.
Sarah was recently appointed to Australian Pork Limited’s APIQ Panel.
Sarah has been on maternity leave for most of 2021 but is returning initially on a part-time basis in January 2022.
