Veterinarian/Business Unit Manager
Tom graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2013, progressing directly into rural veterinary practice, initially in the Goulburn Valley then in the United Kingdom. Tom joined the Apiam swine vet team in 2017 where he provides veterinary and production advice to some of Australia’s highest performing production systems. His special interests include development of high performance production teams through benchmarking production performance and focusing on high return activities such as Day One pig care and gilt management. In 2020 Tom was appointed as a Apiam swine team Business Unit Manager. In this role he continues to provide veterinary services to his existing clients as well as provide direction for continued growth of Apiam’s Pig and Poultry Services.
