Roseworthy Vet Student Awarded Apiam New Horizons Scholarship

University of Adelaide veterinary student, Cassandra Marr, has been awarded a 2021 Apiam New Horizons Travel scholarship. This award is sponsored by Apiam across several Australian veterinary schools with the purpose to support the student with the travel and accommodation costs associated with undertaking clinical placement in regional and rural Australia.

Winner Cassie Marr was elated when advised as being named a winner for 2021, “I am beyond excited and grateful to be awarded the 2021 Apiam Travel Scholarship through the University of Adelaide, “said Cassie.

“Thank you so much for this unbelievable opportunity going into my clinical placements.  I am really looking forward to getting involved with some Apiam clinics and exploring my passion for production medicine in areas of Australia that I had only dreamed of with Victoria and NSW high on my list.

“I am eager to spend time learning from the Veterinarians and staff that make up Apiam, and observe the interactions with clients and surrounding communities.”

We look forward to welcoming Cassy on clinical placements next year.
