Apiam invests in next generation of veterinarians
Apiam Animal Health has continued its support of veterinary student development through recently conducting swine necrspsy and gross pathology practical session for the DVM3 students at the University of Melbourne.
Conducted by Apiam swine vets, Dr Jonathan van Dissel and Dr Robert Suter, the sessions enhanced the exposure of the students to swine medicine and the lesions commonly observed by pig veterinarians in the field.
Apiam vets currently also provide training to pig producers on post-mortem techniques and sampling for laboratory submission, as well as supply fully-equipped post mortem kits.
