African swine fever (ASF) is one of the most significant disease threats to swine industry worldwide. Global feed supply chain is one of the potential routes for transboundary transmission of ASF virus (ASFV) through international trade and travel to various pig farms. In addition, research has confirmed that ASFV is viable in feed ingredients during processing, storage and transportation; therefore, this article will discuss mitigation strategies for ASFV in swine feed.
