Recently we have observed an increase in the disruption to animal health product global supply chains caused by the pandemic.
To better understand the potential impacts in Australia, we have engaged Dr Paul Higgins to research and provide foresight on scenarios that may have an impact of local supply chains to veterinary services and livestock production.
Paul Higgins is a veterinarian and a professional futurist. He has had experience as a veterinarian in large scale disease outbreaks in animal populations. In addition, he was an inaugural director of Animal Health Australia and acted on the Consultative Committee on Emergency Animal Disease during exotic disease emergencies.
His combined veterinary and foresight experience has led to him working with an extensive range of businesses dealing with the Pandemic in the last 18 months, including the National Australia Bank, GJK Facility Services, and the Tourism Industry.
